My Reading List Is Exploding And I Have Only Myself To Blame

The goal is to read one book a week. 52 a year. That means you only need to acquire one book a week, right?

Right?

A-ha. A-ha. A-hahaha…

So, to help me keep track: here is my list in reading order!

  1. Soldiers and Silver: Mobilizing Resources in the Age of Roman Conquest, by Michael J. Taylor
  2. The Fox Wife, by Yangsze Choo
  3. Braiding Histories: Learning from Aboriginal Peoples’ Experiences & Perspectives, by Susan D. Dion
  4. Impro, Improvisation and the Theatre, by Keith Johnstone
  5. Atomic Habits by James Clear
  6. Inventing the Berbers: History and Ideology in the Maghreb, by Ramzi Rouighi
  7. The Myth of Sisyphus, and other Essays, by Albert Camus
  8. How to Be An Antiracist, by Ibram X. Kendi
  9. The Divine Comedy, by Dante Alighieri trans. Robin Kirkpatrick

I will probably (read: absolutely) need a break from the academic works around book 6, so this list is only going to grow. And if you’ll notice, that’s theoretically enough reading to take me from now to February.

Thank goodness there isn’t an upcoming traditional holiday centred around gift-giving, with a sub-holiday centred around giving books.

We’ll see you all in March (April? May??)
